Powertrain Shop Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Carry out design and analysis of Powertrain assembly shop layout using Auto CAD.
- Develop Powertrain process and analyze cycle time (Takt time).
- Develop and review concepts for Powertrain shop equipment and facility.
- Analyze Powertrain equipment costs.
- Analyze quality, and carry out quality improvement measures, as applicable.
- Manage line installations off-shore and on-shore.
- Manage new development within Powertrainassembly shop, and carry out training as required.
Requirements:
- Significant previous experience in Powertrain Shop engineering for automotive sector.
- Mastery of quality requirements.
- Experience in leading project teams for new product launch in Automotive Industry.
- Thorough knowledge of the development process and all related activities.
- Expertise in project management methodology.
- Willingness to travel.
- Integrity, enthusiasm and team-spirit.
Skills:
- English speaking, reading and writing capabilities
- Good communication skills
- Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) skills
- Catia and Auto CAD proficiency
Education:
Bachelor degree from related disciplines
Experience:
Prefer candidates with more than 7 years' experience within an automotive OEM company in related activities. Previous overseas project assignments are viewed as a plus.
